EICC and conflict minerals and metals

Code of Conduct for Electronic Industry in Jissyu (EICC)

Jissyu recognizes EICC standard, which has comprehensive requirements for social responsibility of electronic industry. EICC should ensure a safe working environment in the supply chain of electronic industry, while employees must be respected and manufacturers must meet environmental standards.

EICC contains a series of standards on labor, health, safety and environment, and all the elements in the system must conform to EICC standards, among which standards also involve business ethics. We encourage all activities of suppliers to operate under the constraints of laws, regulations and national rules. In addition to complying with the rules, suppliers should actively face international standards and accept increasing social and environmental responsibilities.

We will abide by the system management and operation process of EICC together with suppliers, so that we can provide a friendly, safe and green working environment for the supply chain.

Declaration on "Conflict Metals"

Jissyu will do due diligence on our supply chain to ensure that gold, tantalum, cobalt and tin do not come from conflict areas in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, nor from illegal trade routes, both of which are controlled by anarchic military organizations and illegal military factions. Conflicting trade routes include those exported directly from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, as well as those exported from Rwanda, Uganda, Burundi, Tanzania and Kenya (the global export routes of minerals in countries concerned by the United Nations Security Council).
